The COBIT Framework
The COBIT framework was released in 1996 and updated in 1998, 2000 and 2006 by the Information Systems Audit and Control Foundation (ISACF). It was developed in response to the need for a reference framework for security and control in information technology. The framework is the leading international standard for the management and control of information technology.
