ERA 7.1 Coming Soon Oct 12 2009

Methodware continues to enhance our solutions in order to meet the changing needs of our clients. The next version of Enterprise Risk Assessor, ERA 7.1, is planned for release in the first quarter of 2010. Significant changes include the additions of integrated audit planning and scheduling functionality, and a consolidation server feature to improve reporting performance.

With the new Audit Management mode, auditors and risk managers will be able to prioritize projects, schedule strategically and assign staff based on skills, experience and availability. Some of the specifics include the ability to:

  • Create and update a high-level plan hierarchy to map out the objectives outlined by the audit committee, review progress toward those goals and compare results according to category, process or risk level.
  • Compare audits across the organization and against prior periods at a glance, using the new audit universe analyzer. As changes occur to your environment, whether through changes in risk assessments, audit plans or other user-defined criteria, use the analyzer to adjust priorities.
  • Develop calendars organized by person and by date. Track schedules for individual auditors and the whole enterprise in order to better understand and manage expectations.

Consolidation server will further enhance your ability to analyze and report information across the organization. Roll up all reviews or subsets in order to view your consolidated risk portfolio and run comparisons. With the new consolidation server, data aggregation takes seconds.

Beta testing is underway. Additional details on the release of ERA 7.1 will be available closer to the target date.
